I have my buzz set up with a harmony remote. All was working well for over a month until last night. The remote became unresponsive so I tried the original remote that came with the box. Same thing. It wasnt until I plugged in my air mouse that I could do anything. Seems that is now the only remote that will work.
I got up this morning and tried to turn on the buzz with the harmony remote and it worked. Figured it was just a glitch last night and all was fixed. Turned it off and just now when I tried to watch it, non responsive harmony and original remote again. Only the air mouse.
Is there some setting Im missing or should I just hit the reset on the bottom of the box.

Thanks, thats why I posted first. So what should I do? With the air mouse, it wont turn the box on. (power button will only shut box off after using) It will do what I need after unplugging the buzz to get the air mouse to work. How do I get my harmony or original buzz remote to work again?

did you check remote setting in apps? on? maybe disable bluetooth if its on
If you are going to reset do a reset in menu

Didnt know there was a remote setting.....Ill check it out and also see if bluetooth is enabled or not.....
Will report back before resetting anything.
Bluetooth is off.....Wireless is off and cant find any setting for remote. There is a keyboard one but it just shows my air mouse is connected. Noticed the 'more' setting is a little different on the 7.1 vs the 6.0. 6.0 has tiles and 7.1 has them listed down the right side of the screen.
Not sure if I should do the reset or not. Just dont want to have to unplug the box everytime I want to turn it on. Thats the only way until I figure out how to get these 2 other remotes working.....

So the guy I bought from said to try a reset and if it doesnt work, will just replace it. The best way to reset is the factory reset through the menu? I assume that will get it back to the way when it first arrived?
Well, did the factory reset from within the box. It re-installed everything but the remote still wont work. Only the air mouse. Even tried the remote on a different box in the house and works fine. Seems like the remote sensor on the box stopped working. Air mouse works prolly due to being plugged in via usb. If there are no other options, Ill have to ship it back for a replacement I guess.....

Was thinking. Is there a way to get the unit to turn on with my air mouse? It will turn the box off with the power button but if the buzz isnt on, it wont power it up. I have to unplug and plug back in to power it on. If I can get the air mouse to power it up, problem solved.

There is a setting to turn the remote on or off in the settings area.

I went under remote & accessories and it only has 'add a device'. I clicked on it and it just sat on a screen that says 'looking for bluetooth device' .

There is nothing beside it. As soon as I click add accessory, it automatically starts looking for devices. Like it is searching for bluetooth device.

I checked my other 2 buzz boxes and they only have 1 tab also. It does have the heading 'remote and accessories' but only 'add device' tab is there. I have both also, 1 with 6.0 and my other 2 are 7.1

maybe do a reset in menu and try to see if that helps

I did do the reset from the menu and its still the same. I can even take the harmony remote to the other 2 boxes and it works perfect. Just the one box that stopped working last night.
Ill try your suggestion and go to the site and ask. Ill post back when I hear something.
