Mag254 and youtube

I have mag 254 (r22).
1-Is it possible to have youtube without having a valid portal?
2-The vesio of youtube i have with a portal does not work.it seems outdated. How to update it?

I Believe the answer is NO..

you need to hook up the Mag to some sort of server
