Checked network settings, says Ethernet NOT connected when I first open settings, got to server info and hit connect to server "OK" and it says server is connected. Checked connection to modem good checked connection to stb good. Yellow light on back of stb next to Ethernet plug in is not on which normally is when connected. Ethernet port light on modem NOT blinking as when connected and receiving data I tried a different port as well. I'm stumped unless the cat cable is faulted? free preview channel is coming in so I know the lnb, dish, switch and cable are good.

Is there an issue with the service or is it just me? Says connected, but scrambled? Also said Ethernet not connected? But server is connected go figure?

I just got a response that my code is good and it looks fine from their end he suggested a new cat-5/Ethernet cable ...it may have faulted I have never heard of them going but I guess anything is possible. I will buy a new one tomorrow and see if it was the problem? Can the STB fault like that such as not receiving the Ethernet signal? once again anything is possible, I guess.

do a reset and set everything up again

i would think if the cable was bad you would not get ok but it must have a number in brackets when it says server is connected.
Try another cable but if it still doesnt work ask them to reset your codes Sometimes they look good at their end but it is an issue at their end

not a issue on server end we even tried his code on one of our boxes to confirm

Been there done that 3 times. re-entered all and re-booted all 3-x's

Try another cable but if it still doesnt work ask them to reset your codes Sometimes they look good at their end but it is an issue at their end

Will try a new cat-5 cable ...never know it may be hooped worth a try stranger things have happened?

you never did say if it had a number in brackets after server is connected () ?
