Hi there have had this box for about a year and now it seems like every once in a while box gets all fuzzy and lines through it sometimes and goes funny then looses connection. This box has software version 6.0.1 on it should I update software to see if fixes problem. Does anyone else have this problem if so how have the fixed it?

how are going to update the android version?

There are updated firmwares available for this box but not sure if it will fix the issues you have. The biggest problem with updating this box is finding the right firmware for the particular revision of h96 pro +. There are quite a few revisions and clones of this box. These cheap chinese boxes are also known for heat issues so make sure it lives in an area with decent airflow.

I update the h96 pro plus for a friend to version 7.1 and its running great, he has it over a year and has no heat issue, you will need a micro sd card and burning tool software to do the update. Check out YouTube for how to update and get the latest file.

K can one update the box with computer and the usb burning tool and download 7.1 or 7.1.2 and do it from there. I put a computer fan and hooked it up to USB to see if it was overheating so far no problems with hdmi losing connection. Been watching for 3 hrs no hiccups.
