My old Roper lawn tractor has 20x10-10 rear tires. Would a 20x8-10 tire fit on the existing rims?

I would not put a 8" wide tire on a rim made for 10".It may work but still would not.

I know they would be narrower but was hoping they would fit the rim.
(Princess Auto has them on sale for 50% off)

I did it on mine years ago and saved a bundle. Still working as good as the 10".
I put tubes in as well to aid the inflation.
