Hello,

my buzz box updated today and since then, youtube is lagging up to a point I don't want to watch it. However, when I start stbemu, I have an option to see youtube there, and it's flawless... Any clue someone?

EPG does work much faster and I find there is no lag in channel switching. The thing that has changed is the EPG is an hour off even though the box time is correct.

Press the menu button while in live tv and go to configuration. There is a setting there that you can adjust the EPG offset time.

Yes, the youtube app is basically unusable. From the time a clip is played the video is very laggy but the audio is smooth.

Ya very strange. Also noticed video lag overall sometimes. Only way to fix it is by rebooting box. Put box to sleep then try live tv, all audio is out of sync and laggy until you reboot. I think video driver is no good.

Yes, overall to an extent. It will be rectified very soon I am sure of it. This buzz team listens.

epg loading very quick now

Con's
overall livetv video lag which causes video and audio to go out of sync..reboot temp fixes this.
Youtube as mentioned is a total lag mess and is unusable.
The ui itself is showing signs of lag such as when your browsing the apps.

Although iam sure this is already being worked on since buzztv seems very good at updating their hardware.

Sorry guys, didn't disappear just don't spend all day on a forum, lol. Anyway, the timing issues I am seeing and have been since I bought the box, are that when setting the offset, some channels continue to be in the wrong time slots. Some off by an hour, others off by up to 5 hours. Also, with some channels, when there is an hour long program, the EPG will show correct for the first half hour timeslot and have some other random program showing for the second half hour timeslot. I've reported it to the buzztv folks and they said they would pass it on to the devs.

Oddly enough, my box just to the new version of buzztv2 (1.6(125) 05/19/2018) and the timing issue has been fixed, or so it seems. The bug that shows random epg data for the second half of an hour show still exists but that is alot more tolerable than the timing issue.

Timezone settings are correct and I have done all the usual reboots, resets and reinstalls. I can install the provider apps on the same box and the EPG works as expected as does my Formuler boxes on the same services. Before yesterdays update, I had to set the offset to +1.5hrs to get the proper EPG timing for most channels. After yesterdays update, most channels have the correct timing without any offset but there are still random channels that are off by anywhere from 30min to 5 hrs.

have you tried date/time auto and a different time zone?

I have in the past, with the same results, but not since yesterdays update and reset. I'll give it another go when I get home this evening.
