Hi guys, i can see some people are posting that they got the nougat update for their buzz 3000 basic. If that's true then i haven't received the nougat update on mine, is there anyone else who is still on android 6.0?

Dunno where i read that someone posted that the buzz app update was followed by firmware update. Oh well.

Umm mine came with 6.0 only and i thought firmware upgrade was coming soon and that was 2-3 months ago. I think this box will stay on 6.0 only.

When i bought mine 3 months ago it was 6.0 and since I have received an updated 3 times now

Not knowing if you have the regular or basic is not knowing what you have. Reading about upgrades others have had and you not getting it after 2-3 months is not a pleasantry. Calling me a smartass tells me you know what one is and that you have the experience of being one. You could've simply asked if the android nougat is still on the cards rather than saying you read others got it and you haven't. And you've read incorrectly as well because no upgrade for Android 7 has been released.

Buzz promise us an update to android 7 for the older 3000 boxes that were running 6.0 they say that the update would come out early 2018 we are near the ending of the 5th month in the year and still no update what is going on,they put out the newer boxes which they call the basic with android 7 so what hard in that to post that same firmware that in the basic 3000 so that whosoever who want to upgrade there boxes can do so.

It's still early and maybe it's just being rolled out on the newer models first. Just be patient it will happen bro

The android 7 update for the XPL3000 must be delayed, as I was told by BUZZTV that "android 7 update will be release first week of may". Must be due to all the issues with the PVR. At this point in time, I'm glad they are trying to fix the PVR issues, as that is one feature that I use. I can wait for the android 7 update if it means a better, more stable PVR.

There have been multiple updates recently fixing the issues with the PVR. Some channels and providers work great, other have issues. Hopefully with this last update, the issues will be gone. Always great when they keep fixing the issues some are having. Great to hear some are having no issues.
