The guide dies down every day.
Channels start to freeze at various points during the day either every day or every other day
the Apk seems out dated compared to other IPTV providers
what's good about it is that when the channels work there good quality and in general it's a good quality Line up
but there just doesn't seem to be much effort going into this IPTV provider from a new outsider's perspective.
I'm not sure if it will even be able to handle World Cup traffic or if the providers of care enough to put multiple streams of one channel in case one gets overloaded...
I wish I'd looked elsewhere more before getting this. Trusted my reseller who is a nice person, I'm going to stick with my reseller who lives here in the forum but this IPTV provider I'm not going to go near again in the future

What device are you using again and how long have you had it?

If the guide goes down like how you explain then you have an internet issue, which will obviously cause your channels to freeze the way you describe.

For a new outsider's perspective how can you comment on the level of effort given by a seasoned team like ok2?? And regarding the world cup lol, from an old outsider's perspective there are so many channels that will be carrying matches you wouldn't know which to choose.

You said you wish you had looked elsewhere, go ahead to elsewhere because it always leads right back here to ok2, it's simply the best.

Check your internet and let us know what device you are using.

So why don't you report issues with certain channels?
Hard to fix what you don't know

Sure. So here's my information.

1. I use Nvidia shield.
2. 75 MB Internet down 10 MB up. I have run various Internet tests and they seem to journal problems but again if there's anything you have in mind let me know (Aside from speed I don't think I have a problem with latency or anything but feel free to guide me or otherwise if there are settings in the APKI should use that me know). I use wired connection as well.
3. I used IP guys before with mag but I wanted to switch to an android box and they don't really have a good service on the android box and I don't like to use STB Emu android APK. Their service was pretty much rocksolid. I tried eternal after and honestly eternal was as good as OK2 but they were more disorganized and did not have the list of channels I was looking for. If you have their channels were not in the quality I was looking for.
4. I have tried other services and their APKs seemed cleaner smoother.

I'm willing to do any testing you guys might have in mind, but, basically here's what I experience with OK2:

1. Maybe a little too often for channels I watch the audio and video become out of sync.
2. Sometimes there are small freezes I mean not that the video completely freezes but that the video sort of skips or if it does not, it freezes for a 2nd then plays than freezes for 2nd in place. As I mentioned I was reliability wise fine with IPGuys and I have no problems watching UHD Netflix. If there are things I do though, settings etc. please let me know.
3. I feel that the APK of OK2 could use some work.
4. As for the guide, it works sometimes but 50% of the other times when I load the APK the guy does not show up, sometimes it shows up semi complete only showing the programming for some channels, other times it does look at jumbled up if I'm Describing it right.

Look it's not cool to say that I am in the minority because many people aren't posting in the correct forms and perhaps the resellers aren't conveying concern. Whether I am or am not I don't know. Perhaps also the people on OK2 are very seasoned, but how much those skills are put to work I don't know. Look This is not my line of work, and again I'm not questioning their skills, but it seems that maybe sometimes the motivation to work on things or manage them are seemingly not there.

@herkimerjerkimer has been nice though, I have messaged them in regards to channels before, but maybe it's just happening too often and it becomes a job.

I am also getting some freezing On some channels too since yesterday to but I will msg herkimerjerkimr about that.

As for the APK I think I'm using the latest one, the issues that you guys don't provide any version number within the app, and even within the forum itself it's a bit confusing as to what's the latest but the one I am using if I remember right I got from this thread " OK2 New version 3 apk for android boxes."

You said you don't like STB EMULATOR but I would give that a try and see if the EPG is smooth.

Does the Nvidia have a live tv app that you can enter iptv details directly or does it require an apk only?

I am using the STB PRO on my android tv box and have had good results with my OK2 sub. I am also using IPTV Smarters with OK2 M3U on my tablet and phone. The guide shows similar to a cable company. I prefer it to the OK2 apk.

I have tried several iptv providers and they all seem to experience issues from time to time: however, OK2 has worked the best for me. Any freezing or sync issues are addressed quickly.

Best of luck and maybe download the IPTV Smarters app to compare. There's two versions: one for mobile devices and one for the tv box.

Here's an example of the issue I am having right now with the guide:27251

from emporium
When EPG gets low on data, I just go to the main menu strip, and select the double arrow (refresh) icon, but instead of hitting the "ok or enter" button on the button, you should hit the down arrow. I know it sounds strange, but try it. This FORCES a full update (ie: clean EPG and reload it). Takes about 10 or 15 seconds (you'll see a few progress bars on top right), and EPG is fully repopulated.

I've used STB Emu, and the OK2 Apk on some cheap chinese Android boxes (one was a cheap S905X based unit, and the other was a slightly better Beelink GT1 S912 unit). They worked fine on them also. I now use Mii Box 3 units (purchased from Walmart USA), and they are a lot better, since they are true AndroidTV units.
Overall, I found that in terms of stream stability, that STB Emu Pro was the best. I was not crazy about the EPG layout (since I prefer the matrix style as presented on the APK), but that is a personal preference.

The OK2 APK, is a little outdated (older version of Perfect Player), but it works for the most part. I do believe it has a few very minor memory leaks, and on boxes with smaller amounts of ram, it can sometimes have sync issues if the box is not rebooted for over 2 or 3 days.

I now mostly use an updated version of Perfect Player (1.4.6). This is very similar to the native OK2 apk, with a few bug fixes and a few small feature updates, like buffers, and a few guide behavior quirks are polished, and for decoder, there is an "auto" option, so you don't "need" to select between Native, HW or Software. It does a good job at auto selecting what is needed. I also find that on the rare occasions when some channels are acting up, and sometimes throw you back to the EPG, Perfect Player handles it better, by just showing the "buffering" circle, and then resuming. Yes it is a little glitch, but it recovers with no user intervention.
The one thing however is that I have configured it to always reload the EPG in full every time, so whenever I start it, it takes about 2 or 3 minutes to fully populate the EPG. Minor inconvenience, but no big deal.

There is no IPTV service which is perfect. Dependency on many streams runs deep, and not always under their control. However, it is costing me less per month for OK2, than the taxes on my previous cable bill :) So really not too bothered by the occasional glitch. And usually there are so many different channels carrying the same program, so if one channel has the occasional glitch, I just take the decision to change to the other channel.

I tried the IPTV Smarters app a few days ago. And while it seemed quite stable and has a fresh look compared to other apps, I still always go back to Perfect Player :) I'm a creature of habit, so maybe I'll give it another shot in the near future.

No issues with guide here I had a couple of channels freezing but i reported them and they wwre fixed within 15 minutes

Who did you report those to?

I mean, is there a direct contact/support for OK2 we can get in touch with?

Because I am experiencing freezing on at least 30% of the channels so far... as in, the channel will either not load at all (mostly international ones) or when it does load it will freeze a minute into it and reset/bounce out to some random English channel (like the last viewed English channel I had on that worked). Quite annoying, if you can imagine.

And all that on 4 different boxes, same providers/different IPs, but all at least 75 Mbps down connection (tested and triple checked for quality and bandwidth) and on STB Emu app (latest version).

And on half of those boxes the EPG guide is off by a few hours for some reason and I have no idea how to fix/reset it in STB Emu app... as in, it works on 2 of them just fine, and on the other 2 it's off by X hours or something.

Is it some sort of a setting in STB Emu app I should be looking at that will fix these issues? Or is it due to OK2 service and whatnot?

Not even sure where to look anymore....

I went through your pm and checked the balkan channels and had no issues
I also went and checked dozens of english
I would suggest trying a different app as the issue is not with the server

I tried this but still it did not work, I assume that it is either bug with the outdated ok2 APK as Emporium has suggested or maybe it's something from the server and I'm not sure

I tested it with the old OK2 apk and it still works...

When you bring up the Menu (press and hold the "OK/Enter" button, use the arrow keys to move over the double circle icon (second from right), and then press the down arrow (not "OK/Enter" - "OK/Enter" just refreshes existing data, doesn't fill in anything, used only to fix corruption). If you are using a "mouse" or "air Mouse" don't... Use the arrow keys to go over to the second icon from the right, and then press the down arrow. It should trigger an "update", but this is a forced update so it should fill your EPG (assuming the channels in your favorites have EPG). Some of the not so popular channels don't have EPG data.

Being defensive here wont solve your issues here or being in denial. I showed specific examples like the guide. Grow up and take responsiiblity. Also extremely rude pf whoever changed my thread title. These issues are n ot due to my setup we agreed that the apk is buggy, channels do freeze, and guide has problems. Grow the hell up.
