There are time when you have say the tv playing then leave to go open something else it ends up opening the tv again.

Now you can bypass this by using the mouse pointer but its certainly an annoying bug.

This appears to be a software issue rather then the remote itself.

I've experienced this but I put it down to the mouse and not the device

That was my first thought but an realized the box responds to other remotes (tv, receiver).

It looks like the coding for its a little messed up hence the remote defaulting back to tv .

Not the end of the world and fixed by a restart but not so good for selling the boxes since its so front and center in the user experience.

Talked to the Buzz peoples , about that annoying problem , was told that they couldn't do anything about it . Very disappointed about that box .

Exactly my point, because I've used a remote app and also the built-in mouse on the remote and it works very good. I know guys who use the rii mouse devices and they haven't mentioned such an issue. So it clearly lies with the wired mouse, I also used a wireless mouse and no issues.

Its unfortunate there is a remote conflict with your devices but to blame Buzz is effing ridiculous

Why am I responding.......

I know you are not angry at your purchase but it's not your fault that buzz is doing great things compared to other brands. I'm not saying that you are petty either because a simple mouse click should not make a user angry or deter them from enjoying the #1 Android-powered IPTV device on the market.

You don't strike me as the jealous type that would take that last sentence and let it eat you up and smash your unit to the ground, but hey, what do I know?

oh I know
during n2 there were a couple of azzholes coding
oh and for a solution turn on the cnx
then hook up the buzz
turn on the buzz and the cnx will turn off
a lot easier than bitching about something stupid

Is it annoying yes and could it likely be fixed certainly.

But i suspect the real problem is were they sourced the remotes hardware.

Likely this boxed them into a corner that would require replacing the remotes to fix.

In the end it is a problem easily gotten around with a harmony remote or a wireless air mote so its hardly a deal killer.

I have no issue but then again I don't connect multiple devices to my tv
as for where stuff is sourced from
well take a look at one country and maybe 2 factories if that
one place makes most of this stuff and only difference is software
and software won't fix it
