Just popped up and seems to have fixed the channel delay on the secondary beta player. :)

Fixes Channel delay or no streaming.
Fixes Vod playback bug

There was one last thing but its slipped my mind.

Updated and switched back to beta player , so far there seems to be no delay at all and no failed streaming messages.

What version is it? I performed an update a couple of days ago. With it I still have some problems, but I am not sure it is the one you are mentioning. Mine is version 1.6. Can you tell me please?

Still showing as 1.6
This was not a huge update and installed very quickly so its not a surprise the app still showing 1.6

Bare in mind i did the last update like everyone else that caused the slow channel changes and stream disconnects.

There was no uninstalling or device resets since then not to mention the first line directly addressed the slow channel change and stream disconnects due to the switch over to the secondary beta player as default.

Its likely a staged roll out and going to pop up for you soon enough.

Good news there is no stream disconnects now on the secondary player and the channel changes are lighting fast.

The size of the update has nothing to do with what version is running. There is a post above your last one that explains some important information since a few users are having trouble noticing the numbers in brackets next to 1.6

Secondary player.

I use secondary player regardless of version but it doesn't with certain channels

I noticed that before myself although i haven't noticed it yet after the update but time shall tell.

That is exactly the numbers I see on my screen. Unfortunately this update did not fix the two issues I have: unable to record for the whole length of a program (PVR issue) and wrong EPG.

Kindly read the release notes of updates as they are pushed to your devices. It will be displayed on your television screen right before your eyes

The audio sync issue is still there and popping up now and then and the epg still clearly got its bug.

how do you know the audio sync issue is a buzz issue?

Killing the app or restarting the box restores the sync if it was the stream this should have no effect.

No a major issue and one that's easily fixed.

Could be.

Although not a deal breaker both can get very annoying after a time and not something you want to see from your hardware.

I suspect the audio issue are likely related to the app not being stopped but merely minimized like most android apps once not in use.

The update was not pulled
It was only sent to those that we're having channel changing delay/not coming in at all issues.
So not everyone will get it.

Buzz's plans is not to release updates to everyone till world cup is done
