Has anyone have any problem using goo3, Linksys WRT54 Router with Telus fiber? At my old house I have Shaw internet and is working no problem, now that I moved to a new house and got Telus fiber 250mb the channels will not come in, but if I use Noi is working no problem. Do I need to change any setting on Telus modem? Any help would be appreciated.

I talked to the accountants friend who runs that setup and she said it works fine.

Read the setup and you’ll get it.

In the Telus modem there is an advanced section, within that you can reserve a MAC address and set it to a static ip, this is highly recommended so there are no conflicts on the network and also you can remotely access the nfusion GUI

I’d like to be more help but the friend is on vacation right now and I’m not able to see the setup, to give you specific setup info.

Maybe able to help in about a week.

Cheers

The goo router is a slave to the fiber router right? What was the IP of the old shaw router and what is the IP of the new fiber router? If the goo was a slave on the shaw the IP of shaw was probably 192.168.0.1 and the goo was say 192.168.0.2. So if the fiber is something else make the goo the next one up from the fiber.

Once that is set adjust the gateway in the NFHD to the new ip of the goo router.

Well.. all this fiber internet and input the iP address to goo3 was not the problem, I just realized my linksys wrt router was not picking up the internet, it detach the ip address but unable to get on the internet.

Update.. Finally got the internet working on wrt-54g router, up and working again. Thanks for your inputs guys.
