So my parents are currently paying for BEV and they just can not afford it, but they got use to the dual PVR. I have a question if they do get a Jynxbox and put another tuner in will this work? Will they need two subs for BEV? Anyone know of a better solution?

With the jynxbox you can only use one tuner at a time. You can not view one channel and record a second. You can buy two jynxboxes and two subs.

Jynxbox has 2 tuner slots so that you can tune two different types of signals. For example 8psk turbo on one and dvb-s2 or over the air terrestrial signals.

I have seen it advertised as twin-tuner but they should have called it "dual tuner".
Shenzhen messed up on the transration.
