Slow Motion

Just found one of these on Kijiji for $40. Got it up and running. Occasionally when tuned to a channel it seems like it is going in slow motion. Not terrible, but slow enough you notice a difference. Any ideas?

Is it on a sports channel broadcast in 720P? If so I notice it too.

Well considering that is all I watch.....probably. TSN is where I guess I notice it.

I think the last bin that SV release either had a bit of a bug or the providers changed or corrected something in the video stream. Since there is no one left to write a new bin users may be fuked.

My neighbour moved on to the Viewsat VS9000HD, it runs fine and still scan all the TP's correctly. Only other option he thinks is Dreamlink T5 or T4 but has had problems with them heating and needing a new DL200. Or they might have DL100 but I could be wrong.

I don't have the expertise plus this is in the hardware. I think most people who know there way around the bin can find CAM's and stuff, but hardware not sure. i think it would be the way the STB is talking to the 8PSK add on card, maybe a timing issue on 720p because 1080 does not look to bad next door. :)

Mine has had the same problem for a couple of years. Very noticeable on hockey games, not so much on others.

This was a known problem with the SV8000HD. Only happens on Bev up north. Bev did something in the stream a few years ago that caused this problem only in the SV8000HD.

I had this problem on 9468 fox sports 1 on dish. sometimes going into audio video in the menu and switching from 1080i to 720p and back will allieviate this..

Strangely though, I had this problem when I was using NFPS, I haven't on turboHD's server.

I picked one up for $50 from kijiji as well today, I spent a few hours figuring it out. Same thing on some north channels, I noticed right away it's a little slow and glitchy. It's a deal breaker. Oh well back to the T5.

Noticed that too! Bad up North! Very choppy looking at the cold ice rink!
