Their prices are ridiculous, and always have been since the satellite days.

Not to me, they are very reasonable from the time they carried the buzz products.

But since you think the prices are not good enough for you, it would have made sense to make a suggestion as to where the OP could get a unit for a price that you think is suitable

Nick is a stand up guy who honoured warranties on products he sold even though the company was no longer around.

The guys at worldwide have always had crazy prices. I use to deal with them years ago when they had the place on Torbram, north of the Million Dollar Saloon, and their place on Midland, north of progress. Nothing fishy about them, just sky high prices.

These days, I buy my stuff from a guy who sells on kijiji in the heartland area of Mississauga. He sells from his house, and the buzz xpl3000 2GB units go for $105 CDN(including Tax). He updates his ad every day,and you will know it is his ad because he states "i don't sell from the back of a van".

I did not say he was fishy. I did not like his prices back in the day.

He honors everything he sells. We've got one dud, and he replaced it. The buzz guys know him well. He sells low margin, high volume.

And on a different date....they replaced a funky remote. (Hamilton/Stone Creek store). I guess if you are intimidating they ante up after all I'm sure they do get the warranty when the salesman comes by or calls.
