Peterson (vice grip) makes a 12" chain wrench.Less leverage than that homemade one though

i doubt that you could turn a nut that easy as rusted as it is, in real time you probably would bend the rod first

If you look VERY carefully at the top thread you will see that the nut was broken loose before the start of the video.Who's to say what he used to do it...lol.Cool idea though .

I can tighten a rusted loose nut by hand...no tools
to get it finished of course a tool is needed
