I need some help and explanation how to correct the problem I'm having and according to Sat9182 says problem in my end.
I have 2 T5 receivers and both has it's own subscription from Sat9182 and renew it from him all the time when expires. One receiver has no problem at all but other one ones became inactive on Sep 15th on channel 1636 and I send him the pm he activated right back saying due to ppv .
Saturday night I put both receivers on the ufc channel and 2nd time same receiver got inactive and pm Sat9182 and He change my port said I'm sending bad request.
New port he gave me works but not as ggod as my other receiver and channels not coming in,I asked him to put me back to original port. He says he can not have bad request coming in during to UFC my promlem is whether I'm on Ufc channel or not it becomes inactive during the ppp events.

How come my otherone not sending bad request.

Can mods help me to solve the problem.

Sat9182 has a great service why is this happens and the new port is not same as original port I have on the other receiver. New port some channels not coming in.

Thank you

I don't have a solution for you but I hope someone can explain it.
My situation is the same as yours. I have a T4 and a T5, each with a code from sat9182. The T4 has never had an issue but the T5 has "sent bad requests" about three times in the past couple of months. I wasn't watching any PPV event. Each time he has activated it again and the last time he also changed my port.
I haven't done anything with my setup other than change channels so I don't know why this happens.
I agree with you - he provides good service!

Thank you dogdays are missing any channels on new port comparison to other port,Also mine with new port still shows inactive on web side but works is yours show inactive also when you check your expiry date, are you on port 54321 also.it's hard to compare when you don't know which port other person on cause majority on still good port

Yes same port. Haven't noticed missing channels, others in the house use that receiver (I watch the T4) so I don't know if all is the same as before.

For example 1505, 1510, 1774 not coming in must be some channels not assign to that port and sat9182 doesn't monitor that special port for the missing channels since majority on the main port.

I've posted this a few times in other threads. may or may not help but make sure to check and follow any of them you can.

lots of things can happen to send bad data.

if you have north and south in the same receiver and you go to a non working channel the receiver will search both servers for a cw. this will cause pinging or bad data to be sent.

if you are recording and your receiver freezes and you dont stop the recording it will ping for a cw and bad data will be sent

if you have somthing disrupt your signal like snow on your dish building up it will cause bad data to be sent

sometimes the receiver file like in new linkbox receiver has something in it that will cause glitch in the server connection and cause bad data.

if you can stop any of those things that can help. so if you watching north turn off your south service or keep north and south on different receiver if you can. if you not watching tv turn your receiver off. always make sure your dish and line of site is clear.

that is the best you can do

we give people chances on main port to fix there issues
if they repeat they get moved to a different port
we will not let a couple bad boxes mess up the system for everyone else
there is literately 5 boxes at this time on the second port that are issues for whatever reason to the main port

I understand what you're saying, it only happened twice only on events in 6 months service my question is this does not happen on normal days without the events so how do I fix this why this only happens only on events and how do I know it's fixed, do I ask you to put me back on the regular port again to see it's fixed.

I understand if it kept inactive all the time like after 3 min than it must be sending bad data.

I hope I'm not offending anyone just need help from knowledgeable people and thank you for the great service.

I would replace the power supply on the one sending bad data. I've been doing some work on both the T4 and T5 with bad signal problems.

So far on the T5 I have installed a 30mm fan and it runs cool but after two days it gets bad signal again. I am going to go over every capacitor next.

But for sure I have seen the factory PS fail, I popped the cover open and found three swollen caps.

Also always edit off all the channels that will never work, this way you won't make requests on dead channels.

I don't have bad signal problem do you think power supply would cause bad data request if it is, how do I test if my receiver sending bad data request to Sat9182.

How about Ethernet switch to add more ports from modem would cause bad data?

I think it is possible the power supply would do it but have no way to verify it. But for sure the PS is low quality and will fail anyway. I am going to post some pictures in a few days.

Just find a PS that is 12VDC and 3A or greater. I am using a 12VDC with 4.4A output from an old thin client. Maybe someone can post the exact size of the connector that goes into the T4/5.

bad data requests
I have noticed that sometimes the Dreamlink would not power off properly with the power button and can cause Bad data requests to the server. Leave Dreamlink on or turn off with receiver's back button will probably help. Also I agree you should use a 12V and 3A. I have had signal issues resolved by doing that.

i respect that.i've been testing a new nfusion hd ,working out any glitches,it works a little different.you should keep me on this port till i'm done dialing it in.once i get this thing running like a dream can i graduate back to main port.assuming the quality of 54321 is worse.playoffs are starting, those channels will be critical.thanks

swithc ports on your router/switch. bad ports will cause this issue. I ran into that with one of my boxes.

Switch problems will cause bad data. If you are on sat 82 and the switch is really tuned to sat 91 because it is defective or has a ground loop it will make bad request but it will still try.

I would like to know if the OP saw the video on both T5s during the complete fight, I bet it was intermittent on one of them.
