HI GUYS I GOT 33' Dish and i bought a Dual LNB saperately written on it
DIGIWAVE
DGL-900D
KU-BAND LNBF
RF:12.20/12.70GHZ
IF:950/1450MHZ
LO:11.25GHZ
GAIN:60dB
NOISE FIGURE:0.5dB

and i got Pansat2700 Receiver, with this receiver i am trying this setting like
G-25
UNIVERSAL1 or UNIVERSAL2 , the rest all setting by default 9750/10750 like this
Satellite --------- G-25
LNB Power ----- On
LNB Type -------- Universal2
LNB High --------- 10750
LNB Low --------- 9750
TP Freq ----------- TRIED MANY DIFFRENT FREQS

no switch connected, directly LNB to Receiver cable connected.

Now I like to know whether this LNB is good to get 97w or not. or I bought wrong LNB. Because I am looking for Dual LNB for two Receivers.

If my LNB is right then how i will get this Signal, because always I am getting one Signal and getting 20 channels like STAR, TREE, BBC-C, BBC-K etc.

Hope some of you guys direct me how to get this signal.

Thanks for your answers

That is a circular lnb with an l.o. of 11250. You need a linear lnb with an l.o. of 10750.

No, it's a circular lnb in the linear frequency range. An oddity.

I'll be honest with you, the GAIN % I never pay attention to it but the NOISE DB I like better 0.2 or 0.3DB, ask the guy in the shop for a DMS International, Focus or ROC brand, DMS I have found it is the cheapest and performs like an expensive one..................also good brand Chaparral

still not get signal facing south/west 9 floor high, using pansat2700 receiver.
in setting try select universal 1 or universal2 9750/10750 & tried diffrent frequencies & select sat G25 (very first sat selected).

what lnb setting & which sat i have to select for 97w for Universal Dual LNB.

What is your lnb frequency in your settings, 10750 is for a standard linear lnb. I haven't used a universal lnb in over 9 years but I believe it's supposed to be 10600.

Just did a bit of reading to make sure, universal lnb frequency is 9750/10600. You use 10600 in combination with 22khz being on for the uppper or high band (12200 and up).

You need settings Universal LNB 9750/10600 the 22Khz will change to AUTO, skew the LNB and if there still no signal then do a Blind Scan and report the TP's found with Blind Scan...............

Close my good friend Costa, but in order for the LNB to switch from some channels to others the 22KHz goes AUTO, but in Pansat is not a problem, this receivers like SV4000 once you select LNB type to Universal the 22KHz switches to Auto and cannot be edited unless you change the LNB Type from Universal to Normal.......you did the home work Costa, some thing tells me you will buy a Universal LNB soon...............................

Thanks Turbo, I don't want to hijack this thread but a universal lnb in Europe is standard. There are so many channels that the whole band is being used from 10700-12750.
I don't think I'll be picking up a universal lnb, maybe just to test.
