This has been baffling me for years !
For example,on my T5....channel 167 AXS is scrambled,I turn on my old Limesat HD and it comes in ?
This happens from time to time with many other channels as well !

I can't figure this out? TP auto update is on on both boxes,as well as all the other settings are the same.....

does anyone have any insight as to what the problem with my T5 is ?

Thanks :D

Have you looked in the Dreamlink files section to see if there are any files you haven't loaded?

sounds like a power to the lnb issue if it comes in when you turn on another box on

Both receivers are hooked up to the same LNB,I even changed switches. This is strange !

Why would that change the way a certain TP/channel is scrambled or not ?

have you tried a different power adapter?

well say your t5 is not sending enough power to the 14 v side
you may not get a full ecm hash request
so server side would drop a bad ecm hash request = scrambled

add in the other box witch is helping power the lnb and you get a full good ecm hash request so server side replies = working

I have sen this happen before may not be your issue but could be too

No I haven't,the signal and quality are good on the channels that are scrambled.

Your not the only one, with this same issue, My T4 will not bring in CW11 (north bird) but without changing anything
i can unhook from T4 and hook up to my SV800HD (same cables, server, etc.) and that CW11 channel POPS right in/on
I can not figure it out why the difference ??

So if my box is not powering enough to the LNB..? Does that mean my box is toast?
Very strange that it would only do it on certain TPs ?

Hi. I never use auto tp update on my T5. It causes screwy things to happen.
You didn't state which lnb you're using. Single, dual, triple.
The T5 (and my Linkbox 8000 HD) can get by running a single lnb ok. A dual causes them to run hot.
I'm using a power inserter on a triple special and a separate linked lnb for 129 and my boxes run warm.
Also have a fan installed inside them to cool the processors.
I blew the DL100 running a dual after some months on the T5. It was running hot.
Over 4 years now with a power inserter on port 1 of the triple.
You could split open a piece of coax to get access to the center conductor and shield and measure voltage at the lnb to see if you get very close to 14 and 18 volts when you switch to a H/V channel.
Your T5 power supply could be going bad too. There is a capacitor in them that pukes. I cut mine open and replaced it. All is good now.

Another problem may be auto-tp does not work correct in some cases. Look at the Linkbox channel 167 and note the TP frequency, mode (TURBO or DVB) symbol rate. Then re-scan it in the T5.

If you running south a bunch of changes have happened this past year and a re-scan is for sure in order.
