A week ago it went down in the middle of the night and was back up by noon last friday, and I have been up ever since.
I was tinkering with my router this morning and connected to server a few times on port 65000.

I've had this happen many times from him.
Sometimes takes days for a reply and fix.
I'm happy with the service, and understand ecm's.....but no connection to server requires faster attention.

I would send him an email, if you have tried alternate ports and rebooted everything and still can't connect.
There is no ecm, my friends plumber's proctologist has over 50 customers and they are all up and running so
if you can get Turbo to verify that your account is active then it is probably a problem at your end.
What type of STB?

It's never been a problem on my end. I had a fishtv sub that was active. Every time turbo gave me a no connection to server, my fish connection was still up. Ecm's hit every server. That doesn't necessarily mean the server has to shut down their equipment.
So, I've been at this long enough to realize ecm's and problems on my end. No connection to server means that my sub ran out or as someone else mentioned, turbo buys credits for shorter lengths than out subs are good for.
True or not, 5 years with fishtv and the only time server cant connect came up is when they had to reconfigure their box.
And communication was good letting me know the problem.
Turbo doesn't email me....he responds to my PM's.....eventually.
I do like the service alot. The glitches and sometimes days it takes to reply and fix them (his end) is frustrating.

When this happened before, was Turbo able to fix it for you at his end and you were able to connect after?
That is strange, as my friend's plumber's proctologist's Rabbi says he never has any issues after the initial connection and as for ecm, when one box works they all work and the subs never expire early or stop working for no reason.

And yes, he did fix it once he put his car in park and got to his pc. I never lost connection (Server Cant Connect in the box...it was connected...no channels)

Must be some kind of voodoo or witchcraft stuff that I am not familiar with.
It seems to be common around here, but has not happened once in the past year for 50 users that I know.

As of now it has been several hours of "Can't connect to server", I waited one hour, sent a private message to you, waited a little bit, sent another...and another. I lost count. BTW, I do not have your email address. You never gave it to me.
Days...what I mentioned was a Friday afternoon until Sunday evening late when I got a message from your son that you were driving. And that's all cool. I'm not here to ruffle feathers. There is a member here who does enough of that for us all.
But days. Let's see. Friday afternoon to....Sunday evening is just that. Days.
A simple reply of the status would be good. Checking my PM's every little bit isn't.

Currently Sunday evening here. Down since early this evening. Sent a PM around 9:45. It is now almost 11pm. No response.
At least "I'm working on it" would let me (and others) know you're on it.
I've pinged the server url. It's up, but I can't connect. All of my string of IT devices have been cold booted.

Anybody thats using a Dreamlink t5 and having issues with south server if possible and you have another receiver try it my neighbor bought a new t5 a few months back and whenever the server went down and changed locations of its server a few weeks back it started having major issues server was connecting no problem but only had limited channels most saying scambled and had very slow channel changes when they did come in and freezing like crazy 24/7 it seems the t5 cant get or process what it needs from the server fast enough to work (just my op) anyways i hooked up his jynxbox hd today to the very same equipment and its working fine so until things change with the server or maybe its far off location we probably have no other alternatives i'm assuming..

I remember an old trick a while back. The power supplies are not very good on the Dreamlink. See if you can get a laptop adapter that has a 12v center pin positive with an output of 4 amps or more. I'm going to get one tomorrow. If I wasn't at my vacation home, I would have taken one off my tv box. Hopefully I'll have some good news tomorrow night. Remember 12v only and 4 amps or more, definitely not less.

Most of the channels freezing all the time couple freeze free since server moved something is not right or need adjustment in server for jynxbox hd v10 don't know about the other receivers.

I always use port 65000. Mine was up last night and had the fight on both 460 and 462 but is down this morning.
I have noticed before on sunday morning after a ppv event it sometimes goes down for a couple of hours.

I think some are hooking up another receiver at the same time to send power out to lnb’s. I have noticed too much demand on the t5 with 3 lnb. Also have found small cooling fan helps.

I think some are hooking up another receiver at the same time to send power out to lnb’s. I have noticed too much demand on the t5 with 3 lnb. Also have found small cooling fan helps.

There is a connector right inside of the T5 for a small fan. After cooking my 1st turbo module over 3 years or so ago, my box is nice and cool with an internal small fan. Also with more than 2 lnb's you absolutely need a power inserter. People who mention power supplies and signal loss and such most probably are running a hot receiver.

Grab your server address during problems and open a command prompt and ping it. 99% of the time I get a response.
So, no connection to server means something is wrong with the sub status, not your box. If you can ping him.

The 110/119 was still mostly down this morning when I woke up, and I got an email from Turbo saying the server address changed and it was ecm, so I reboot and everything is back up.

Reboot your receiver.

I had another issue with my receiver yesterday during the ecm and had to factory reset and rescan for channels.
The T6 was saying "scrambled channel" indicating a server issue, but when in the sat settings I noticed no signal on 110 and 119 but the "no signal" did not appear while on the channel. After the factory reset I had a signal but it left me wondering what that ecm did to my receiver?
I was still down until this morning when I rebooted.

Turbo got back to me. He showed me the connection information. So it was on my end. For some reason the dhcp on it had a wrong dns ip. I put in the right one and now it's working fine.

OK HERE IS AN UPDATE we had a HARD ECM for those that don't no what that mean's ELECTRONIC COUNTERMEASURE when we get hit this hard it take's time to repair what has been done to the sys . these guy's have real job's an family they do this as a HOBBY to have something to do for fun not a full time job. if you have no other mean's of tv try OTA TV. or better yet spend some time with your family an friends look i no it's winter time an for around here there's not much to do because it's raining or cold or something. but PLEASE be patient they are working hard to have y'all up an running again. my self i have KU BAND LNB 4FT BY 4FT DISH an i scan the sky one of the one's i like is GALAXY19 easy to find lot's of kewl stuff on it. an for fun you can check out LYNGSAT to give you an idea of what's on it again please be PATIENT

The thing is that the only channels I am receiving is the free 102 (studio) and its duplicate 349. I am receiving NONE of the others.

So, I started a new thread to get everyone else's feedback as to if IKS is dead now forever.

My thread asked "If you do have ANY channels up, please post what channels and who the reseller is. If you are down like me, please post who your reseller is. Also, a pm of any other useful threads [ ;) ] would be appreciated"

Please check that thread out TurboHD clients.

I receive a connection ok message, but then when I try to connect to server after it says to wait, I get message can not connect to server.

I went ahead and entered all server connections again just in case there had been a glitch, but still no joy. Has the name of the server changed within the last month?

I edited my original post in this thread on the subject. I hope that it now complies with the rules.

I am still not getting any channels (except for those that were "open & free" anyway). I did receive a reply from Turbo, with instructions for me to follow. I am going to go and try that now. I hope these instructions may help others as well. Here they are:

"maybe a fresh channel scan will help

try it now

i am told only a few from 300 work
and that at some point there will only be 10 working

and they will work until charly sends the last execution style ECM

they have a few cards left and charly knows it

and that will be the end for IKS

it can happen at any time "

I did as he said too. Rescanned and then even entered Server info again. It now says server connected, but I have no channels... I had just renewed last month too. So, why do some of his clients still have a few channels?

Yes sometimes it's just re-naming of the same old service, but it makes sense that no one has heard of them when they don't have any HD, most people are into HD now but when you are one of the last left standing you are going to become popular very quickly.

Channel list's keep going down and prices keep going up. If we loose any more channels I won't be buying in.
