OK2 & NHL Center Ice

Hey all, just wondering if there's a reason why there's only 6 or so channels in the center ice category? From what I remember, there used to be about 20 channels.

Because they are on diffrenent network like... TSN- SPORTSNET -NBC SPORTS AND SO ON
