Just got a 1000.2, and I'm trying to set it up properly...
I have a digital finder that I'm using to rough point the dish. I have locked on to at least 1 bird (Assuming 110).
When I come inside and scan on the Dreamlink, I see quality showing on 82 within the Dish Settings page, however the display shows me it's 110. See the screenshot below...

Anyone have any idea what might be happening here?

It's showing that I'm pointed at 110 under the 82 menu.

I'm sorry! LOL.
Very new to the hobby. Good news is I believe I have everything pointed and aligned!
Bad news is, I am missing some TP's. Hoping that when I get my power inserter in a few days I will have a boosted signal.

That's great but this site maybe able to help you significantly more so you have a smooth set up. If you post your hardware, sats you're looking to reach.
There are guys here that if you post your setup.....you'd be amazed on the knowledge you could gain.

Setup:
Dreamlink T5. Dish 1000.2
TP = Transponder. I don't see anything on 129 until 12.399 (transponder 21).
Looking to reach 110, 119 and 129.
Signal quality is low until 12.457. Then 85% + for the rest.
I have an inserter on the way. Using an old sub box on line 1 at the moment.

So, that explains why I wasn't seeing any nice signal in the first few transponders on 129.
Do you delete the ones not in use? Or leave them be?

Perfect. Everything seems to be doing OK?
I'm not getting any HD channels. I know that my DL100 is fine because I use this same box for 9182 no problem.
Assuming the only south server just isnt doing so hot? I just gave a donation.
Are there any HD channels (Like Dish 101) in the clear that I can test my 8PSK module with? Make sure my settings are what they should be?
Edit* 4483 on 110 is in the clear and is HD for testing ;)

129 has a very funny CONUS footprint, if you live in Florida you could use an 8 inch dish to pick it up, but in other parts of North America you may need a larger dish then the D1000, I almost live right under that bird but need a 39 inch dish for 129.
Here is an active footprint map for 129W, select the CONUS beam at the top right of the page (in the pink area) and zoom into your location, then click on it, this will give you an idea on the size of dish needed for error free signals from 129.
https://www.satbeams.com/footprints?norad=33453
Transponder 12516R has the "You have a dish at 129W" channel on it,(channel 9599) this will help tune it in.
