BuzzTV PVR function broken with flashstreams

Using the BuzzTV iptv built into the box with flashstreams (not using the flashstreams app) the PVR function has not been working for some time now. At one time it was working, but now will not record. The red rec indicator will show (depending on which decoder is selected), but no file is recorded. Have tried this for the MeTV station (search for ME space TV to find the channel. There are 2 metv channels and both have the problem. I prefer the New Jersey/New York feed as the other has an incorrect aspect ratio) as I like to record the Svengoolie episodes on Saturday nights. (any other Svengoolie fans here?) The record function does work with other providers, just not with flashstreams.
Any word if flashstreams and Buzz are aware of this? or if it is being worked on?
What other methods are there for recording and saving these files?

Have not contacted flashstreams yet, as I wanted to see if other users here have the same issue, as well as flashstreams does post here as well.

I just tried recording a show last night using OK2 and it did the same thing. Showed recording but now there is no file there.
Is this an issue with the Buzz or the server?

Wanted to add that it show the 3 programs listed but cant play them.

I know it sounds like a silly question, but if you go into the PVR option from the menu, and you select "Storage" (right most option), is ANY of the available storage options selected ? Just curious, because if I remember correctly, I don't think that by default anything is selected. And not sure how it would react. Just thinking out loud :)

EDIT: Funny.. I know I had it worked for me at one point.. But right after I posted the above, I picked up a spare Sandisk 32GB USB stick I had, and could not get it to record on the stick. I tried fromatting in FAT32, exFAT, and even NTFS. Also tried formatting directly on the buzztv (which actually also formats as FAT32). Even tried recording to internal storage. In all cases, I got same reaction. It goes through the recording process. Then when it is done, the PVR menu does show it as a recorded event.. But when you try to play it, it says that stream not available. So looks like an xml file containing the metadata is updated, but the media files themselves are for some reason nor stored.
I checked the key after on my laptop, and there was no files created.. Yes the pvr/1/channels or whatever it is directory is created, but it is empty.
I don't use the PVR functionality, so it is not an huge issue for me, but it is strange. I know I had tested it successfully at one point.

I know....It did work for me a while back. I dont use it often but did try the other night. So I assume we just have to wait till an update or fix then?

Well, I should say welcome to the club:yes: I went through the same process you mentioned and with the same results.

The PVR function, when worked, was not very reliable either. I had the same issue and I gave up. I have sacrificed definition for recording capability by connecting the box to an old PVR that does not have VHD and I can record programs by using the old PVR. I have used the AV socket to connect the box to the PVR and then I have a cable running from the PVR to the TV set. In case you wonder for me being able to record a program is very important because I mostly use IPTV to watch soccer games, and sometimes I am not at home at the time of the game.

I'm using beta buzz tv app and it works only if you recorded using secondary player. I'll open up new box and test without beta.
