New User - Catchup not playing

I've been using stbemu on a firestick and just recently got the xpl3000 (2018 edition).

One of the things I've noticed is that it's not populating any shows for catchup. My provider has 7 day catchup and they are populated along with the dates in stbemu and I can play them, no problem.

On the xpl3000, I can see the catchup symbol and a list of individual dates, but then when I click on the date no shows are listed. I also tried playing an older show on the EPG grid, (with a catchup symbol), and it didn't play. Am I missing a setup step?

Try changing media player to "Secondary" and see if it works. Menu --> Player

My provider is in the UK and I'm in the states, so there's a 6 hour time difference, if that might be a problem.

Catch is working for a few shows, (with flashstreams using buzztv builtin app) but like others, most do not play. I tried using the EPG to select the program, and it seems there is a better chance of it playing if you only go back a limited number of hours. If you try a couple of days back (again using the EPG) it will not play.
Would be great if they would allow you to record a catchup show as well.

Thanks for the help. I messed around with the date/time settings and was able to get catchup to work for the current date. It still doesn't play previous days, which is unfortunate, but it's better then it was before.
