DELRAY BEACH — A company that sells Dish Network subscriptions plans to hire 200 workers over the next two years and move to a larger headquarters.

Infinity Sales Group of Delray Beach already employs 340 people and aims to add 200 full-time positions in sales, customer service and office administration, according to the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County.

Infinity Sales Group sells satellite-TV service on behalf of Dish Network Corp., whose growth has outpaced that of rivals. In the fourth quarter of 2009, Dish Network added 249,000 subscribers, while DirecTV added 119,000 subscribers and Comcast, the nation's largest cable company, lost 200,000 customers.

"We sell a great product, and it's being well-received across the country," said Ken Rosen, the company's co-chairman.

As part of its expansion, Infinity Sales Group will move into a 35,000-square-foot office at 5201 Congress Ave. in Boca Raton.

It pays customer service workers $10 an hour, while salespeople make about $35,000 a year, Rosen said. Infinity Sales Group dangles plenty of perks, Rosen said, including free food every Wednesday.

Winners of sales contests are rewarded with everything from free 10-minute massages to free cars.

Infinity Sales Group is open 17 hours a day, seven days a week, reflecting what Dish Network in its latest annual report called "intense and increasing competition" for pay-TV subscribers.

Rosen declined to disclose financial information about his company.

In another bit of good news for Palm Beach County's job market, aerospace engineering firm Belcan Corp. of Palm Beach Gardens plans to add 50 workers to its staff of 325, the Business Development Board said Tuesday.

Any hiring is welcome in Palm Beach County, where the jobless rate was 12.4 percent in February.
