I'm pretty sure the update was installed....... It's a smooth process which you did not notice. Once it says no updates available you could be certain you have the latest. Click the menu button while in live tv and look at the bottom... should say 211

After you clicked "install update" how long did it stay there before you unplugged? Sometimes it appears as nothing is happening but you have to give it time. But you follow the instructions given in the posts above mine and see how it works.

It's a very quick update.. I had a small issue during the update... I went in menu to check for update, and it told me that update available and it was downloading. However I was still in menu when the full update screen popped up (after downloading I guess), and it was below the menu, but I could not dismiss the menu any more. I pressed a few buttons on the remote and It felt like it had hanged..However I guess the enter must have registered and proceeded with the update. In about 30 seconds, I was about to hit the HOME button, but it exited. When I restarted the APK, it was at new version.

There are so many possible combinations of menus, and outcomes that it is hard to predict what a user will be doing when you launch an update screen. So sometimes you may find strange behaviors during these types of things, it is needed to be patient. Important part, is that it doesn't corrupt itself, and manages to update properly.

Hats off to Buzz for the updates, and to our whole community here for their constant support.

These buzz units are unique because for the last two updates I didn't get the download bar at the bottom. It just hanged on the screen with the update notes and the unit did its thing. And the updates before them I got the bar at the bottom......

Good thing is that according to the new features list (posted by nobodyspecial in the first sticky of this thread):

"25. Added new menu to show download + installation status for future app updates"

So will see during the next update :)

Chances are, the update might have been installed. When you click the ok button it will appear as if nothing is happening but it really is.

Reboot your box, go to live tv...... Hit the menu button and look at the bottom of it to see the version you have.... It should be 2.0 (211)

If not, click on check update, if you are prompted for the update... Click "install update" and let the unit get to work. When finished your screen might go blank..... Hit the menu button and click on exit. Reopen live tv and check version to make sure the unit took the update

I tried this and when I clicked on menu button it said I had 1.6 versions I went to update and it said it was downloading. It has said this for 4 days now and nothing. Every time you go to watch tv it freezes with the update page!! Very frustrating

Yes I have cleaned the cashe and still no update. Still stuck on 1.6. And notifications for update page is still there
