i was wondering that if i changed the mac addy in my box is it only for the server slot i'm changing it for to match. this box has 10 server lines can it have 10 differenent mac addys too. do you just blue button the line you want to change. the reason i'm asking is one of my other boxes puked and i was just going to use another line in my buzz box instead of buying another mag . really like my buzz box .

it only changes it on the line you are on so yes you could have 10 different MACs

You would be better off giving your reseller the new mac address showing in the server slot in buzz box now instead of changing to your mag mac address.i did this and had server login problems later.

I don't know why you would have problems unless you are using a server that uses the box id also.I'm sure many of us do it with no problems. You can use 2 different boxes on some servers but 1 at a time of course.

depends on server
most only use mac
some use more so therefore just changing mac won't work
I have 3 different services and 2 of them work on 4 different boxes
just not at same time

I changed a mac address and it worked for a while then quit.It was probably a server thing. Not knocking buzz boxes because i like mine and my mag box.

Even changing mac's would probably need reseller to reset so go ahead and use what buzz mac address is showing.

With doing this, can it be done on 2 different IPs?
