How to update STB EMU on firestick 4k?

I had a question, i downloaded STB EMU on my firestick, someone sent me the link etc. and now i am getting a notification that there are updates available to the software, mainly 3 versions that i am behind and when i click on update nothing happens. Does anyone know how to force the update?

Most like its a pirated version and is blocked from updating. What version you have? We have the latest version posted here believe its 1.1.9 build.

I believe it is pirated 1.1.6. it says EMU STB pro. is the 1.1.9 a pro version here? or is there a difference?

It is obviously Pro. What is the point of wasting resources to posting non-Pro, you can easily get non-pro either from play store for real android boxes, or from an apk mirror for android wanna-be boxes.
