View Full Version : VOD Favorites not working after 247 update

After 247 update the "Favorites" in VOD is not working, The 12 movies that are saved show "Loading" but never load or display.
Can"t delete the the favorites items. Tried clearing the cache and rebooting. Powered of and unplugged.
I have 2 Buzz 3000 boxes, One updated fine and the other has the "Favorites issue. Everything else works great in VOD and IPTV.
This happened right after the update.

The VOD movies you chose do not work, this could mean those movies just aren't working and have nothing to do with the update.

The same method used to add the favorites is the same used to remove them, I belive that's the yellow button on the remote.

Yes, I tried to remove them with the yellow button, but because they never load, you can't remove them. I tried to add new movies/tv shows , but that didn't work either.

so vod favourites is working on one box and not the other?
both have same o/s?

Both are Buzz XPL 3000, 2Gig/8Gig
Both updated to 247 a couple days ago.
Both are on the same service with their own MAC addresses
Same modem, router.
The dozen saved favorites that worked 2 days ago now show as empty boxes with the word "loading " in each thumbnail.
Everything else seems to work fine.

Yes, one box the favorites work, the other doesn't.

Sorry, Is the O/S called the version #?? If yes then the working one is 6.0.1 and the not working one is 7.1.2

If this is not the O/S then let me know where I can find it.

first thing i would try is to uninstall updates and reinstall them

That will correct it or you can wait till Buzz does the next update as I am told that they are aware of the problem on 7.1.2.

Are you able to search for a Movie
Highlight any of the results, press the yellow button to add it as a favorite.

Then check your VOD or TV Series Favorites list to see if it is still Loading... Or shows all your favorites?

Tried it and it doesn't work. VOD favorites worked fine till the update.The older Buzz 3000 boxes with 6.0.1 OS are working fine as far as I know. The problem is with the combination of the 247 update and the newer Buzz 3000 with 7.1.2 OS.
Its a small problem and the Buzz is working on it for the next update I am told. The Buzz is a great box .

I didn't talk to Buzz . So its hearsay I guess.
Copied from a Facebook posting : I was told by a BUZZ dealer to just wait as they are aware of the issue and supposedly a new update is being put through that should fix the problem??? (hopefully)
There are similar comments on other IPTV forums and others with the favorite problem.
As far as "its a small problem" Its a small problem to me as the Buzz works really well otherwise.
Does anyone on this site talk or E-Mail Buzz about issues ???
