ya about a month
it must have known I made this thread and figured suggestion would be to smash it...lol
after more than an hour it finally booted

Just asked neighbor that had one of those a while ago.
With nothing else plugged into it press 00000000 on boot
Or try 7 8 or 9. Pressing my 0 7 8 or 9 on boot 8 times or so should get box up again.

wrong issue, pressing all the numbers was to get software to load

Stick a wood tooth pick into the av hole,you will a light click, the box will reboot into factory mode. Then reload your box.

Mine went to boot couple weeks ago. The 88888888 worked for me.
Love the picture quality on this box.
Is why its one of my favorites.
