Yes, highest tides in the world, can be over 16 metres (highest recorded was almost 22 metres).

Also it comes in at 18 km/hr so if you walk out too far in low tide you may not make it back to shore.

Its an amazeing thing to see in person the tide comes in all at once .

I've been to Fundy & have seen the low to high tide twice.It comes from near out of sight to it's normal height in just a few minutes.If you're clam diggin', you gotta move fast.

yes strong tides in my area . I've seen um high and I ve seen um low.

they measure tide in feet in my area.

16 metres (highest recorded was almost 22 metres):
16 metres = 52.5 feet
22 metres = 72.2 feet
18km/hr = 11.18 mph
