Just short a detail or two...

Do you have line of site?
Are you under the sat footprint?
Tell us your dish size & type as well as lnb(s) and / or multi switch or disec

Not really sure about footprint and line i always had someone work on the dish but its so expensive for their service . I have a bell dish with the the DPP QUAD LNB i'm getting a 97 % signal on 82.4 and 91.1 and i need nimiq 6 on it thanks

its proper names for bev and then set your lnb settings in it

Its good that the signal is great but it must be blue and the correct sat must appear at top right

Go to dishpointerdotcom. It will give you all the info you need to aim your dish at 91W (elevation, azimuth & skew) Use the map to pinpoint your house then use the sat drop down menu & scroll down to 91W

Did you have the DPP Quad Lnb working with your T5?
If so carry on.

I thought the T5 didn’t have the power to run the Dpp lnb, maybe you have an inserter or another sat rec connected to feed the extra power.

As for footprint... if your in Canada your in. If your state side but close to can/us border or further south it becomes questionable.

As for aiming the dish let YouTube be your guiding hand. There are free telephone apps that get you in the ballpark also.
If you don’t have a sat finder then just have the wife help you out, Lol! Go straight to divorce court!

Good luck

The channels are from 1104 to 10696 and there all scrambled yet i am connected i think the 82 satellite should come in with a 97 % blue signal does anyone have an answer i been on this since friday thanks .

Bluenose- You have to aim your dish at 91W. See my post above (#7)

Understand that but i don't wanna spend a 100.00 to have my dish moved and not get anything. I'm getting 82 . nimq 4 with a 97 % signal in blue and all channels are scrambled if this 9182 works i should be getting something thanks .

Makes sense if one satellile is receiveing 97 % signal i wouldn't spend a 100. to have the other satellite come in and receiver no channels working .

Have you checked and rechecked your info put in to connect to server?

You could ask your reseller to check your connection as well.

you say you have blue signal, do you have the same on quality with a lock on the sat.

82 has unnecrpyted audio so if you were set up properly you would at least hear the audio then you could narrow it down to the server but if your not getting the audio your set up is incorrect

when you go into where you input all your info the server slot you used must be on.You should see the ip or url name

Do you? If not highlight the server slot and use the left or right arrow on the remote to turn it on

just because you load a channel list doesn't make your satellite and settings correct. again, no audio on 82 then you have other problems prior to the server. Are you getting audio on any channel

did you even move your dish?
higher elevation plus turning it?
and skew?

dishuser
03-19-2019, 03:10 AM
set skew to 90
elevation to around 40
and facing dish turn it to the right
I think that's what it is(been years)
elevation might need to be a little higher/lower depending if mast is plumb

you can use a pencil or marker to mark the settings on ur Dish
so you can make adjustments and get that bird ur missing,, also sounds like you are missing a few settings on ur box.
