Should I experience lagging at 75Mbps internet? I have tried two boxes now, Buzz and Formuler, no change. I have moved the modem around, nothing. I had the Internet provider come out, they ran new cable from the pole to the house. The provider uses a hitron coda-4582 wireless modem. They replaced one already. Most times when I watch streamed IPTV or a VOD, the picture lags typically in the beginning and the end. Not always the case, but some consistency. The provider also added an inline amp, to help speed, I am not sure if that is the right way to improve it? there is two adults in the home, not a lot of streaming going on, other than watching IPTV or VOD. no router, short cable runs, no splitters, one powerline adapter for IKS, and as mentioned one inline amp, added by provider.
What do you think is the culprit?

Are the devices hard wired or wireless?I would run an internet speed test on another device at the same time the freezing is happening & post the results.

hardwired. in some instances The formuler box runs better on wifi.

Run the speed test as I suggested:if the latency is good at the time of the freezing, I would say the issue is with your iptv provider.

I did notice the Formuler box, I was not connected to 5G, I have since changed that, so maybe this will improve the lagging?

I thought it was hard wired?5G makes reference to wireless frequency.

good point. I might have unplugged to see if it works better. So much for my theory, I think.

I am thinking it is provider, I am getting hardwired with my laptop 75 to 92mbps, using a speed test. its odd, almost like a flicker in the picture. watching March madness, and it can hurt my eyes due to this super small hesitation. Would any of the tvs cause this? I have Vizio's.

For the record, Iv'e experienced similar weirdness with all of the providers Iv'e tried at one time or another. It manifests itself more like a slower frame rate rather than freezing.Doesn't bother me too much.Same with all the different hardware Iv'e tried.

A Friend with 75 Mbps gets frustration with intermittent lagging(tried hardwire, moving wifi closer with just a tad better success) with both his Boxes while I am getting almost no lagging using 10Mbps.We both have the same provider but live 300KM's apart.

So what is the issue the provider and the area we live in? I live in a big city.
