Hi there,

I received a ROM update today on my 2017 edition running android 6. It updated to V001S901_20190314.
I checked my 2018 edition running android 7 and it's still on a version from Nov 2018.

Any idea if the 2018 has a later version? I can't find any details on what in the new March 14 update. Anyone have insight? I forgot to make note of the alert before updating.

Update was for XPL 3000s running Android 6

Change Log:

1. Update Buzz App
2. Update Buzz Launcher
3. Add support for ARQ 100 Buzz USB Remote

The main purpose of this update was that the pre installed version of Buzz app on the XPL 3000s running Android 6 could not take an update if the user factory reset the box + add support for the new ARQ 100 Buzz USB Remote.

There will be a similar update for the XPL 3000 + Basics running Android 7.1 next week.

Thanks for the quick reply! Will there be an update for the xpl3000 non-basic 2018 version running android 7?

I noticed that my 2018 7.1 Buzz is still on V002S901_20180525 released in May 2018. Is there any way to upgrade to the November 2018 build you mentioned?

I don't quite understand. I mean the firmware update, not an update to the Buzz app (which is currently running the latest 2.0 build 247).

I know of that option lol. It always states "did not find the new version", but clearly I'm not up to date since there's a November build and an even newer April build. At first I assumed it's a staged rollout but I doubt it'd last for 5+ months. Would a factory reset help?

XPL 3000s running Android 6 were sent an update about 3 weeks ago.

XPL 3000s running Android 7.1 will get one as well soon.
And will be the same change log as the Android 6 version.

Some users may be running a 7.1 version from Sept 2018 and Nov 2018 as those units came loaded with it from the factory, the only difference on those versions is the pre installed version of the Buzz App to include a newer one.
