Does having a quality VPN effect internet speed?

It depends on what you want to do.If you just want to disguise your location, you can usually chose a server that's close to you from your vpn provider & have close to your original download speed.If you want to watch lets say German Netflix from your location in the US using a German server, it will be much slower.

Want to use for my Android box.Only have 15 speed now.
