Never have and probably never will be able to afford an antique auto of my own. But anytime I see one in a parking lot or going down the road they always get my attention. Seen one of these at a car lot back in the day. Not sure if it was truly for sale or just an attention getter to draw folks into the car lot. Wished I had some of the cars me and my two brothers have had in the past. And my parents as well (sigh).

Those were the good old days. My dad had several including one with a rumble seat. It was soo cool to ride around the country roads in the back. His 1919 Scripps Booth Touring Car is currently in a museum in Twin Falls Idaho. Just looked it up and it's for sale for 43K. I went over one night after work and he started crying. I soon found out my Mom had sold his last hot rod a 32 Ford coupe. It was slated to come to me but that never happened.

A rumble seat was also called a dicky seat or a mother inlaw seat.
