I did a speed test on my Buzz 3000 & it shows 43/11.I get a lot of buffering on it. The guy that installed the iptv said my internet is not fast enough for his hd iptv. Is he pulling my leg!

you have more than enough speed for the ones I have tried

I think that speed is adequate for about 4-5 boxes streaming iptv

the guy that installed it says the server is one of the best HD you can get and uses more band width & I should use a different internet service.On the speed test he noted that the bar had waves on it and it should be straight.Thats what is causing the buffering!

I have seen iptv running on 6 MBPS with no bufferingYep me too.What they should do is try a another server and not rely on someone that's selling a box with a service.It would be worth paying for a month for the piece of mind.

There are resellers here offering IPTV.

Try one and see if it resolves the buffering problem.

Nope mine has a circle with a line going up to the speed same for upload thats why i called it a speedometer.
Same with the windows 10 app

But never the less if there is a line it should wave i would think because it shows coming and going traffic no?

I have a green bar for download with 3 small loops & purple bar for upload with many loops.The server installer said the download bar should be perfectly straight!when you get loops than internet is loosing strength,than you get buffering.

Speed of connection is one thing, (well two if you count upload/download) "ping" and one other thing "jitter" are also important, if the ping is too high, the the connection may be a very long one, ping measures the lag time between two IP devices on a network connection, the lower the ping the better.

Now jitter on a network connection may not affect some types of down or uploads, but if its too high on the download side you could have problems with that download, it may cause the download to take longer then normal, or for it to re-start, the speed thests will show the ping but you have to go a differant speed test web site to get a jitter measurement.
