Hey folks, I know that the Buzz box is running an ARMv8-A CPU (the Cortex-A53) which is a 64-bit capable CPU, but for some reason is only running a 32-bit Android OS. Android itself has had support for 64-bit since 5.0 Lollipop which is quite older than what the Buzz box is running (7.1.2).
Is there any reason why 64-bit Android was not loaded on the box? This makes the 64-bit functionalities of the CPU fairly useless as ARMv8-A APKs cannot be installed or parsed by the OS. This is 100% a software limitation, as the hardware is ready for 64-bit.
Is there any way to receive an update from Buzz that will install the right OS for our box?
