What was the nature of the surgery?

The Doctor's don't always tell you the truth about all post operative issues. Hope your surgery works and you have a speedy recovery.

I got mine fixed 4 months ago, just keep active so you avoid developing a blood clot, that's what happened to me and that is a really pain in the butt

You were lucky I had to wait 8 months

only reason I was lucky was because some old woman wasn't
one day I was told it would be another 10-12 months and next day I was told 4 weeks cause O.R. was already booked for a hip surgery

Had the right side rotator cuff done 12 years now, auto mechanic.
tore the bursa sack, had same shoulder replaced here in Vancouver, 6 years ago now.
best thing ever.

I know its a bitch now you will be happy with it soon, to a speedy return too normal
Peace and get well.

Oh that is too bad du. I know somebody ( an old dude) that had it done but
he used and abused it very soon after surgery and had a really good outcome and it's been a year since surgery.Hopefully doesn't go bad on him
