Whenever i start up the app, the volume defaults to 50%. i.e. I have my Mi Box volume at 100% before starting up STM EMU, and after i start up the app, the volume drops to 50%. Is anybody else having this issue and is there a fix for this?

Yes, I find that it varies from android box to android box. I've tested a few boxes and come across this alot. I don't know of any fix.

Which version of STBEmu pro are you using ? I had the same issues on my Mii with an older version (I think 1.1.7). Then another version mangled the remote mappings :)

Here is the latest version:

swap out the "xx" with "tt" in link above, and you can download the latest version from that link.

Old Habits.. Can never be too careful, with search engines. I'll try to remember next time.

Does the latest version 1.1.14 have the MPV player option in it? Also how can I tell what version of the software I have installed on my box?

For the version, go to settings—>Apps.
I have the latest version and the same problem.

I remember at one point, I also had to play with the sound settings of the Mii box to help with this also.

So, under Settings->Sounds..
Set the "Dynamic Range Control" to "OFF". I think this was the one that helped for me. But here are my other settings, just in case..
Sound Output->"PCM"
DTS Sounds->"0"

Hope it helps..
