View Full Version : Favorites Channel Order

My neighbour recently got a buzz box and was at his house and he asked me how to get the channels that he put in the favorites in numerical order. Thought that was weird but his list in the favs are not in order of channel number. All mine at home here are in order of channel number and was wondering if there was a way to get them in numerical order? I looked through the menu and didnt see anything. Worst case scenario, I told him to just delete them all and redo them but he has 13 pages of favs so thought I would ask here first before having him do that.

use the sort button(green)

Well, the green button is organize favs. Just brings up the channels but doesnt have any option for what type of sorting to be done.

it should give you option by name or number
or try the blue button

Thats what I thought that it should say by name or number but it doesnt. The blue button takes me to VOD.

when in favourites list what does it say at the bottom?

This is correct

Sort by Name + Sort by Number was added to the recent Beta.
Should become available to the Public Soon.

The green button at the bottom says 'organize favorites'. So just have to wait for a new file then......Unless he wants to redo them all......

If you are in favorites list and you hit the green and a little box does not show up on screen then you have to wait until next update. On the other hand, favorites are listed in numerical order by default......

Question....... What order are your friend's favorite list showing? Alphabetical?

They are numerical to a point but around approx. page 4 of them, they start listing out of order. Just found it weird........
I just came back from next door and he just deleted and re-input them and they are in numerical order now.

Without the new file they will save in order they are saved in
as in if you saved 1 2 3 5 7 100 6 thats the order they show up in
but as soon as the new files comes out you will beable to sort them

So thats why they are in numerical order now....Hope he doesnt add anymore now....lol.

As Maestro mentioned favorites are listed in numerical order by default. But when you are in favorite and you push the green button it takes you into another page then choose the channel that you want to move press okay and that channel will change color and you can move it around the way you want it ....good luck

The latter part of your post is not what he is interesting in but the order of the channels using buzz options and not manually moving channels. As it stands, you can sort channels either alphabetically or numerically
