Buzztv wanted to create a personalised customer experience, starting with the buzztv 3.0 platform where you can add your favourite channels, VOD, TV Series to the home screen. There’s a lot that not shown in video otherwise it will run for a lot longer than the current 4 mins.

Press and hold the ‘OK’ button to rearrange/move your fav apps
New PVR recording Ui in thumbnail!!
Multi-screen is something buzztv may look into.
Screenshot any screen (hold Standby Power button) select ‘screenshot’

New update we will test end of August.

Hardware:

‘C.R Cool Running’ - Buzztv created new tooling so the base is made from steel not plastic to help with cooling

The remote has much more short cuts keys:
• LiveTV
• VOD
• TV Series
• Server (access portals!)
• favs (so when you’re on LiveTV it brings up your favourite channel list, One Button works the same for VOD favs, TV Series favs!
• Categories (channel list) AND Search Button to find your favourite channels, vod and tv series

NOTE* THERES A LOT MORE TO COME AND MUCH MORE FEATURES TO BE ADDED

Does the box support gigabit ethernet? The XPL3000s only supported up to 100 Mbps maximum theoretical speeds (with real world speeds around 95 Mbps).

Also on the Wi-Fi side of things does it support 2x2 MU-MIMO like the XPL3900, or is it still a 1x1 AC radio like the XPL3000? An easy way to check this is to see the wireless link speed using apps such as AIDA64 with the wireless router very close. If the link speed is greater than 433 Mbps, then it supports 2x2 AC Wi-Fi.

From video of review that was posted in other thread shows wifi 5ghz Speedtest of around 225. Wired shows 97 so no gigabit wired Ethernet.
