No problem now, my DreamLink T2 W just crapped the bed. Tried to reboot, the link comes on for split second them off. Tried and a few more times, the same and get nothing but NO SIGNAL. So I assume it is time to move on, the unit is 9 months old. No answer back from DreamLink for 48 hrs. Wonder which unit to get next?

People are lovin' the Buzz boxes.Several models to choose from.All are quite reliable it seems.I have the 3900.It works well, with a couple of insignificant quirks.I would buy another if I needed another stb.

P.S...I have a T2 Prime similar to your T2.You could try to usb load the factory firmware & start over.

I will look into that but I do not think it stays on long enough to do anything. I assume the software is on the DL site.

You have to help yourself a little.I'm not gonna do all your searching for you:cut'n paste from another source.I have used this method successfully.

1. Unzip "update.zip" and store it to root folder(top folder) of your usb Stick memory.
2. Insert it to your STB (Dreamlink T1Plus, Dreamlink T2 models and Formuler models)
3. Power on STB with keep clicking channel up button on remote.
4. STB will start auto recorvery.
5. Wait until all processes are done and reboot.
.That is all.
* Important notice when it's failed. *
Be sure recovery facinit file is stored to your USB memory stick.
Check your usb stick memory if this _"recovery_facinit" is still there.
This file will disappear after one time use. so, you should check if this file is on the usb before starting factory recovery.

I emailed BuzzTV and they answered quickly. They said they are coming out with their new unit, the buzztv xr4000 in a couple of weeks.

Ironically this morning (8-27-2019) I was staring at the unit sitting on my desk and decided to give it one more try. Powered up and I felt like the remote was really not talking to the unit correctly. So I changed the batteries. And the sky opened and all is working just fine. Who would have thunk the batteries in the remote control the unit like it does. ;)
