Pause and Resume

T5 is working fine on BEV
Have a USB drive for recording installed

When I press Pause, the video pauses but then resumes at "live"

Is there a way for the video to resume from the paused location ?

No, not unless you record it.

Pausing and resuming is a PVR function which is ALWAYS saving to the hard drive.

The T5 only saves to the hard drive (USB) when you are recording.

Would a Dreamlink T6 have this feature ?

the GEOSATpro HDVR3500 claims on a seller website that you can pause and rewind live tv.i have no idea if this is true.i'm looking for a box that does this if anyone knows of others.thanks

I do this all the time pause and reply from where I paused it. Just hit the time center button wait a second or two then hit pause ,works every time.But if you have something set to record it will go to that and you will miss what was ever left on your pause.It has happened to me lots and it bites.lol . When in this mode only thing works is skip ahead and and when you skip ahead you must hit sound up or down to get the sound working.

So when I go for a coffee and or a smoke I do this Time play button and pause. When I return I hit the pause button to resume and sound up for the sound and it continues from where I paused it . For commercials I just skip through them but it skips ahead a Minute at a time. I have paused play for over a hour and no problems. You also can go back as long there is time from the start .. There is a small window that opens up top right corner that tells you your time and the amount of time paused ,to get rid of this just hit exit and if you want to stop pause record just hit the stop button.Then it will go to live tv and you will have no paused saved program to watch it disappears.
