Two Dead (or so I think) Global Media 5G Boxes

As the title says I have two Global Media Boxes.

Unit # 1

This box loads with the blue light on the front and "BOOT" across the face. The normal screens on boot load (4K Ultra HD Satellite Screen and then the Red intro screen), then it just loads them again over and over. It did once make it to the menu but it is frozen.

Unit # 2

Red light on the front with no words. Nothing happens. Just the red light. Nothing loads, no picture.

Now typically one would do a hard reset. But there is no hard reset button on this unit. No its not in the AV hole as others have.

I opened the unit and no where is there any button to hard reset. The unit if left plugged in gets very hot.

Does anyone know how to do it internally? I am good with a soldering iron so if that is needed no problem. I also have some heatsink compound if its an over heating issue.

Any help would be appreciated as I have been banging my head against the wall with 2 dead units.

Yeah figured unit 2 was dead.

As for unit 1 I did try that previously and seen a android robot doing something then it went right back to the regular reboot routine with an exception. Now after the satellite splash screen it simply go's to a color. The color changes with every cycle I power off and then on again. Solid Red. Next time its a solid orange. Next time its a solid blue.

Some serious voodoo **** happening here. Think its time to let go .... lol
