is it an issue with the server or with stbemu?
also, if someone can point me to where to load an stbemu with no advertizing

why would you need that on a buzz?

Not to stick my nose in it or anything, but I personally have STB installed on my formuler boxes as well. Sort of helps mirror/diagnose those issues that donors have with their service on Android...

Not sure about Buzz, haven't used them in a while but with the formuler z7+ 5g, the MOL software can be a pain to navigate sometimes too...

At the moment, the 4000 does not allow you to change MAC. So sometimes STBEmu can be a great temp option if you can't change your sub for some reason.

because the guy you buy it from, insist on donwloading the STBemu and provide him with the mac adddy
i was using another android box, and transfered the account to buzz, by copying the mac addy
i don't think buzz let you update the mac

Let's not generalize. It's not all buzz boxes that don't allow that. The 4000 series does not let you change MAC (at least for now). On the buzz XPL3000 that I have, buzz allows you to have a different MAC for each server slot. Hopefully they bring back that feature.

I used STB EMU last night and it loaded quite nicely on another server.......
