the version of stb may be the issue? what version is giving you a hard time? I have no complaints that donors are not able to use stb or that the guide is empty...

I have StbEmu Pro also, and it works great, just some of the epg is not up. But I am sure that will come soon.

i don't have ok3 i have ok2
but just a thought since some work and some don't with stb emu
maybe try turning the ministra player in settings on or off
have seen this be the difference of working or not with other servers

When I try to load OK3 on STB EMU it says, Your STB is blocked. Call the provider. Any help would be appreciated.
My other IPTV server can load.

so this issue is the version. The paid version works fine but the free version you need to downgrade. And i just realized there was a massive channel cut in the list will those be back or no ?

OK.. On my buzz, I did a data clear, and entered the info again, and all worked like a charm a while back. Everything is nice and quick again. Thnx.

However I have a second box (MiiBox3) where I use STBEmu to connect to the same account (yes, only one box at a time). Main box is in the living room, and the second box in the bedroom. And we only watch one or the other anyhow. I have it STBEmu set up with the same MAC as I use on my Buzz, and it worked fine before the server change. I was using stbemu pro 1.2.0.4, and I did a data clear also, on stb emu, reset everything and it still doesn't work. I get the "Contact your provider to register this device" screen. Uninstalled 1.2.0.4 and installed the latest 1.2.1.0, made no difference. Decided to go back to a 1 year old version, 1.1.7, and still no difference. I was asked to try 3 different variation of the portal URL (I won't post them publicly, in case they are not meant for open use), but that made no difference either (same screen).

I double checked the MAC, and even changed the Serial number on STBEmu to match that of my buzz (in case it marries to MAC and serial). Still same screen.

Any ideas ? This setup was working fine before the server changes.

It's not a huge deal, since we don't use the second box much, but it is handy to be able to watch in one room or another without having to physically move a box :)

I tried with that one also (it was one of the 3).. I can try again however.

EDIT: I just retested and still get the same message. buzz unit works perfectly fine however. I even tried changing the STB model that it was emulating, Mag 250, 254, 256, 322, 324... Just in case server did not like certain models, but also no difference.

Modify serial number to match my buzz, change DEVICE ID to be MAC based, instead of using the random seed, selecting the option to send deviceid, enabling and disabling certain features, like ministra support, etc.. Changed emulated MODEL model, and even checked the option to allow detection of emulator. But nothing seems to work. Even tried entering the MAC in lowercase, just in case the software does not do any proper normalization before sending/injecting. It was a longshot, but at this point if can be anything.

To go any further, we'd need help from someone who has access to the servers to figure out why the specific connection is bein rejected on the server side even though the MAC is identical. It probably marries to some other aspect/information also now, but I have no clue (I tried all I can think of).

Or maybe at one point during the transition stage, it married to some additional info, and stored it in it's DB, and now if continues to use it even though it shouldn't. Maybe a reset of some sorts is needed to do a full test. Unless someone has a newly created account, and can try on a buzz box (or other actual STB) and with STBEmu to see if both can work.

I concur. I've tried everything and anything. The issue doesn't seem to just be with ok3, though. Essentially every service I have that was using XC seems to be doing the same thing. With the exception of ok2 for me.

Thinking there's definitely a database of some type with all user info. Any deviation from those exact id's or what have you and it locks the user out... TVZON is one that's been one hell of a pain in my ass when it comes to STB and Android users. Ready to throw the towel in with that one.
