PVR recordings

I have bought a newBuzz XRS4000 and even though I like it a lot, these boxes will not change to the channels for the recordings I have set from the EPG.

Basically, my box will only start recordings if i am on the actual channel in live tv. It is very inconvenient, since I have to change to the channel to be recorded ahead of time or nothing will get recorded.

Is it a bug? I have tried internal and external storage but nothings seems to work...

Any help would be appreciated!

buzz is aware of your issue as he thanked your thread
It could be a bad update ,maybe uninstall update and reload

Yes thanks for answering. I have tried internal memory, USB stick (3 brands tried) and hard drive through usb ports. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled buzztv2 updates and let them reinstall. I also did the factory reset twice. After multiple reboot, nothing worked...

I also own a buzz xpl3000 that does the same thing.

yes and if I open the guide, it shows the right channel, but the recording is not happening...

Update: I sold my XPL3000, XRS4000 and bought a Formuler Z8. Wow, this thing will even wake up from stand-by state to start recording! You can also watch your recordings as the machine is recording live tv! Just like the commercial STB's. You can also watch VOD and it will still record your live shows. It has Timeshift recording! They are also planning a future upgrade to let us record directly to a NAS...

These things are very important to me as I can not waste my time with the endless TV advertisement of 22 minutes for an hour of show.. So in retrospect, the Buzz software is behind only if you need to use the PVR functionality.

My XRS 4000 after the December update works Great. PVR is awesome on this box now. Fixed a lot of issues keep up the great work BuzzTV ��������
