Server info is on the main menu.If it isn't there, then either the dongle doesn't work, or the software is factory file. You should be using the hd2028 or hd 2028 nocheckfile. After you load it (with dongle & ethernet connected, the dongle will be loaded by the stb.Start there.

Hey jackson, great to see you

One of our great members has chimed in already to help out...purrrfect!!

Nothing to do with anything but a HIJACK lol
First receiver I had was SV 4000 and I loved it. Around 2008 I think the dongle came out and
It was a source of some interesting jokes lol...well we had to liven up the fta site somehow!!

Wishing you and yours A Very Merry Christmas jackson

C'mon back soon!!

IMO The SV8000HD is still the BEST FTA receiver made out there, it has stood the TIME & still operating

Having all of the 8000,T4,& T5, I have to say the Dreamlinks are pretty close, & FAR easier to get parts for.SV power supplies have to be repairednow because of availability.Dongles are near extinct. The vcd displays & usb drivers are prone to failure, equally hard to find. You have to be pretty handy to have an 8000 long term now.I know:I still have 9 out there, & vI'm fixing them often.lol

All I can say is once I had mine fixed (2)by Dmarco have had no issues with them, and that was awhile ago
Still have a T4 on the shelf which had Lots of issues (power supply, bad caps, over heating, etc.) don't use
Because I prefer the SV8000, over the T4-5

I have NEVER put an stb in service without supplemental cooling.I have had NO hardware failures with the DL's.Don't get me wrong:The SV's were top shelf, but have run the gauntlet

The preference for me between the two is at least with the SV I can "See" what I am doing when inputting "info" etc.
For Us "OLD FARTS" that is DARN important

I use MAKE2DREAM2 its here on the site for the DL T5 and it works fantastic and is very fast to input . And no mistakes very easy to use..Way better then using remote to add server info.

I would suggest looking for one on Kijiji

Just looked on Kijiji and found three ads for the T5 including the HD module

You will need to install the HD2028 nocheck file.

Your call but I would load that nocheck check before hooking up an iHub. If memory serves one of those files will update the iHub to 2.3 which is almighty trial to reverse. Thinking it is the 5.15. It may not effect the iHub if it is already at 4.12 but why take a chance. Again your call.
