Thank you du for pointing me to Neil Peart
I like his words

“While I remained ambitious, punctual, and hedonistic at home,
I had learned to better appreciate the timeless beauties and blessings of nature,
value sincerity as a cardinal virtue and reject the Western reverence for affectation and hypocrisy,
and to make my frantic life pause for sunrises, sunsets, and full moons.”
― Neil Peart, Traveling Music: The Soundtrack to My Life and Times

he became pretty deep after losing his wife and daughter in less than a year
he actually disappeared from all contacts for quite a while

“Without knowing it, I had identified a subtle but important part of the healing process.
There would be no peace for me, no life for me, until I learned to forgive life for what it had done to me,
forgive others for still being alive, and eventually, forgive myself for being alive.”

― Neil Peart, Ghost Rider: Travels on the Healing Road

“I watched a storm pass to the north, trailing veils of dark rain.”

― Neil Peart, Ghost Rider: Travels on the Healing Road

tommy lee is a great showman
saw Mötley Crüe several times
saw the spinning drumkit
also in cleveland he did a magician's drum solo
he started his solo and backlights/smoke came on and they enclosed his drum set with a white sheet so that you could still see lee playing
at the end of solo an astronaut came out with a rocket launcher and blew up the drum set
astronaut took off his helmut and it was lee :yeaah:

That's really cool runamok...a treasure!!

Great drummer and I appreciate his writings

“There have been those who have actually said they envy me, though mostly strangers, and I doubt you’d be that short-sighted or self-absorbed. This is way more freedom than anyone should ever desire, and carries way more baggage than “freedom” can ever sustain. This is more like “desperate flight,” and another name I have for myself is “The Ghost Rider.” I’m a ghost, I carry a few ghosts with me, and I’m riding through a world that isn’t quite real. But I’m okay as long as I keep moving . . .”

Neil Peart, Ghost Rider: Travels on the Healing Road

My treasures also include a drum stick personally handed to me by Bad Company's drummer,a guitar pick from Ted Nugent and a pick from Neal Schon of Journey.

Don't know if there is a video of this drum solo but try finding the solo from Gary Petterson of the Guess Who on the "live at the Paramount" album playing American Women
