I was watering the garden the other day when my little girl (who is 9 y/o) came out and asked me
“Dad, what’s sex?”.
I was floored but I figured if she was old enough to ask then I owed her a honest answer. I sat her down and since we were out in the garden I was able to give her the ‘Birds and the Bees’ talk complete with examples from nature. By the end of it her mouth was hanging open and she looked a little shell-shocked.
“What brought that question on, Sweetie?” I asked.
“Oh... Mum says dinner will be ready in a few secs.”
